Ang Lihim Ni Antonio (Antonio's Secret)

A pink film "Lihim ni antonio" is one that i watch that is all about freedom of a gay. He antonio himself wants to be free to himself and every one but he can do it in his friends only. Then once his Tito made an sexual intercourse with him and one day they have sex and his mother saw it that makes her so shocked so he killed  his Tito. My one opinion to this movie, It is quite great. The director has a skills to make the viewer to view the inside message for example is the camera effects, even it is dark the color of the clothes and everything is enlighten  The director has a creative mind. yet i didn't like this cause in the end they have an sexual intercourse to each other that distracts my mind. that is just my emotion when i saw this film.

Ellipsis

Ellipsis is one of the play which we watch in the theater-like stage in multi-purpose hall. We watch it and in start, I laugh to the group of dancers because of their performance. It is quite hilarious to everybody and to me. And to the main event of all, the ellipsis starts where the characters talking in front. talking about their opinion to love. I don't know what they actually talking about but in the end i recognize what's the meaning of the story. The three has a connection to each other. Its like a love triangle and in the end they made something that we shocked. Others are laughing and other don't watch. maybe they are disgust to that scene. In the end, I try to shuffle the ingredients and make an hypothesis. Maybe sexual relationship is more effective than love that’s my opinion about what they do in that time. cause they mad an sexual intercourse there and they ignore the fact that one guy love them both and try to sex them up. so that’s all.

Perform this! (Performance Art)

Last Saturday, we performed a performance art which has a theme of “Unborn”. One of my choice video clip is one of the group titled “I Don’t Care”. In the scene, A guy that has been approaching by some people but he didn’t care to them. Each and every time he’s been approach, he ignores and ignores it. It represent the unborn because when the people approach to him, nothing happen. he didn’t make what they want. like not being exist to them.

Hundred twenty Days of Sodum (Salo)

The story is set in the Republic of Salò, the Fascist-occupied portion of Italy in 1944. Four men of power, the Duke, the Bishop, the Magistrate, and the President , agree to marry each other’s daughters as the first step in a debauched ritual. With the aid of several collaborating young men, they kidnap eighteen young men and women (nine of each sex), and take them to a palace near Marzabotto. Accompanying them are four middle-aged prostitutes, also collaborators, whose function will be to recount erotically arousing stories for the men of power, who, in turn, will sadistically exploit their victims.
The story depicts some of the many days at the palace, during which the four men of power devise increasingly abhorrent tortures and humiliations for their own pleasure. In the Anteinferno segment, the captures of some victims by the collaborators are shown, and, later, the four lords examining them. The Circle of Manias presents some of the stories in the first part of Sade’s book, told by Mrs. Vaccari (Hélène Surgère). In the Circle of Shit, the passions escalate in intensity from mainly non-penetrative sex to coprophagia. One scene shows a young woman forced to eat the feces of the Duke; later, the other victims are presented a giant meal of human feces. The Circle of Blood starts with a black mass-like wedding between the guards and the men of power, after which the Bishop is sodomized by his assistant. The Bishop then leaves to examine the captives in their rooms, where they start systematically betraying each other: one girl is revealed to be hiding a photograph, two girls are shown to be having a secret sexual affair, and finally, a collaborator and the black servant are shot down after being found having sex. Toward the end, the remaining victims are murdered through methods like scalping, branding, and having their tongues and eyes cut out, as each libertine takes his turn to watch as voyeur.The film’s final shot is of two young soldiers, who had witnessed and collaborated in all of the prior atrocities, dancing a simple waltz together.

   120 Days of sodum takes my mind when I watch some of its clips. It has some part which i need to be clearly known. But my opinion to this movie is it has a great meaning. It has a social relevant to the country which the highest which is the 4 greatest ruler. The poorness made us more poor as we live a country. they feed them poverty and that would made us poor forever. This movie is great yet it is disgusting to watch. Pleasantville ("Nothing is simple as Black and White.")

  PleasantVille, A 1998 fantasy movie which the story runs in the twins David and Jennifer that enters to the world of pleasantville. A place where things are in order to be perfect. A black and white town where Good things are happening there. Now when they enter to this show, The town changes and having now a colors every time they put their culture to the culture of pleasantville. When I watch it, one idea that enters to my mind is the difference of the urban now and the past. and when the culture of the two collide at the same time, Chaos will be on that. But at the end of the story, The people in pleasantville accept the culture of which the twin contribute and that’s how story happen. A good movie to watch.

Installation Time!

Installation Art now is proceeding in our PUP Campus. Many courses make an installation art for their presentations. One of my best pick there is the installation art that has been made by the BSBA Marketing Management 1-2 from group one. This is my pick because they make an art using socks in many sizes and piled it in the stairs. from the bottom to top, the socks increase size. The steps represents the age of person increasing. As your age increases, Our freedom decreases. When we are still child, Our parents deciding what we are gonna do. we have no freedom in ourselves. But when we are old and become responsible as we grown-up, We are become more free in ourselves. In that, I recognize to their installation art the message of being unfree when we are in young age.

Am I Really Free?

   In this democratic country, Do we ask ourselves “Am I really free?”. Do we ask it even it is a free country?. In myself, I know I’m quite free to my parents. They have confidence in me nowadays. But I think because I’m a boy. Some parents don’t have confidence in their child because of its gender. I have a friend who always gettin’ home late. She is older enough but still her parents don’t have any confidence to her. Meaning to say that there is no same freedom when it is come to gender. Now, we are out to family and now go to the freedom to our country. It is a free country and surely we can do what we want to do. I’m quite free in this country. I have a rights to give an opinion. I have my rights to defend myself. In overall statement I have given, I surely know that I am really free not physically but also in mentally aspect :)

Why do we keep things private even to ourselves?

 Private things are things that is needed to be hide in yourself. It holds your reputations. We know that all person have private things. They make it as a secret. Some may like to share it publicly. While others DON’T. They much like to keep it privately. I don’t know why but some people are also making their secrets private to themselves too like me. I also have private things. Some of my secrets are needed to be private. Last time in our Humanities, Our professor let us draw our secret secret part. Some don’t draw it. meaning to say that some are shy to draw it in public. Because it holds your reputation. It decrease your reputation and loose your confidence and by that, You would like to keep it in yourself privately than to be known by the public. Strange but true.

Monologue Presentation

Last Saturday, We have been experience how to monologue a song. Like communicating to someone using a lyrics of a song. Before the monologue day, I’m the one in-charge in our group to prepared and I prepared a song for each of my members. In the presentation day, Nervous coming to each one of us. But when our group is done to perform, our nervous starting to fade and our confidence boost a little bit because we have finished our performance well. 

Sound Of Silence

A poor guy from the overpass. My friend caught this act. A boy who I represent as a sound of silence. As we walk to the bridge near Commonwealth. We saw a boy who is begging for spare of money. But he do it in a silent way. He’s just raising his hand with a cup and wait for someone soft-hearted to put some money in it. When we came back home, we walk to the same overpass and we saw nothing but a blank plastic cup. In the boy situation, we heard what a silent man saying to all people ignoring and passing him. He only wants a spare of money to fulfill his hunger and stay on surviving the urban wilderness. but he can’t say it and no one want to hear it cause people disgusted him. Like an only man in a million people. If only they can recognized what the boy wants to say, maybe the silence raging to his heart will be gone.

Who I Think I am.

I am Argyll Loren Landagan. I’m a 16 years old guy. I once live in a wild community but I’m The Quiet one. Yes, the most behave at all probably. My friends like to call me “Gyll” to make my name sound nice. I think too that it is sounds much nicer. Others try to call me BLIND. I’m not blind at all. But my vision starting to fade already so I’ll be ready to be called BLIND. 
I lived beside my parent’s lectures. In that years i lived with them I learned all how to become a nice citizen. I am a simple guy. I’m afraid to do bad. It makes me dirty inside. I’m not a superhero you sometimes heard or read on a comic books. I’m just a little boy who always have a big dreams in life. I’m a little bit silent and that silent makes other person think that i’m a bored little critter. But inside that quietness, There’s a raging loudness encourage me to carry on. The others think that i’m an “emo”, But i think to myself i’m not that kind of person. I just like to be in silence, Playing my Guitar and listen to my favorite band “My Chemical Romance”. I like that band. Their songs makes me comfort. I also like when it’s raining. I don’t know why but It boost my confidence. Another Weird guy!
But now I’m a college student. Maybe I need to change the way I live once. Maybe I need to fit in to this raging community. I need to adjust to be fit at all. Surely, I will become more success in that decision. Surely am I.
